Se aporta información sobre la distribución geográfica de dos especies de Notiobia Perty, 1830, en Colombia; se encontraron especímenes Notiobia (Notiobia) umbrifera, así como especímenes de Notiobia (Anisotarsus) praeclara. Este último fue hallado 115 años después de su descripción. Los especímenes registrados se encontraron asociados a coberturas boscosas del Suroccidente colombiano.
