Todo diseño tiene un autor, pero a menudo lo desconocemos. Los objetos jamás han nacido por generación espontánea, todo lo que no es naturaleza ha estado ideado por alguien. Por mucho que una silla sea de madera, nunca ha crecido de forma natural de un árbol. Por lo tanto el calificativo de anónimo, aplicado al diseño de objetos, no supone la ausencia de creador, sino simplemente el desconocimiento de su identidad. Nunca en la historia de la humanidad nada se ha creado solo.

No matter how much a chair is made of wood, it has never grown up naturally from a tree.
