Constituye en un gran honor participar en ésta XVI versión de la cátedra abierta sobre Derechos Humanos, que la tricentenaria Universidad de San Buenaventura convoca en este año fundacional . Y alternar en ésta prestigiosa cátedra con elevadas figuras de inteligencia, versadas en el pensamiento franciscano que exalta al ser humano como centro de vida y como sembrador de distinto. Tal ha sido el itinerario histórico del franciscanismo en el mundo y especialmente en Colombia; Y en ella, en Antioquia en donde la huella universitaria franciscana es profunda y sapiente.
