Sumario:
Este artículo científico tuvo como objetivo conocer acerca del vendaje compresivo en pacientes amputados a nivel transtibial. Los materiales y métodos utilizados fueron revistas bibliográficas certificadas, artículos científicos gracias al internet. Se dio a conocer como uno de los resultados que los pacientes amputados a nivel transtibial tienen mejores pronósticos que otro tipo de amputaciones. El vendaje compresivo le da protección al muñón al tiempo que colabora en la reducción de su tamaño al facilitar la disminución del edema causado por la amputación.
