La relación entre neoinstitucionalismo económico y sociológico

Sumario:
Este trabajo pretende demostrar la concordancia fundamental entre las aportaciones teóricas procedentes de los economistas y sociólogos neoinstitucionalistas. Para tal fin, las agrupa en seis categorías: teleología, epistemología, metodología, agente individual, organizaciones e instituciones. En vista de los resultados, se concluye que si bien dichas contribuciones muestran un perfil teórico muy similar, también tienen ciertas discrepancias que abren la posibilidad de un debate fructífero dentro de esta corriente de pensamiento.
