El sistema estructural desde la antigüedad ha formado parte del proceso de creación de espacios y se ha reflejado en las obras arquitectónicas como un elemento manifiesto de evolución, desde la concepción del espacio como experiencia del hombre, hasta la representación de su propia imaginación. Este proceso es estudiado en edificaciones tales como los aeropuertos, en donde los elementos estructurales hacen parte de un lenguaje de significados que actualmente evocan los espacios como símbolo de un universo de sentimientos y percepciones. El sistema estructural utilizado logra no solo cumplir con la función de soportar, sino a la vez de contener en cada elemento un código que permite la relación de lo real con lo imaginado, aspecto determinan... El sistema estructural desde la antigüedad ha formado parte del proceso de creación de espacios y se ha reflejado en las obras arquitectónicas como un elemento manifiesto de evolución, desde la concepción del espacio como experiencia del hombre, hasta la representación de su propia imaginación. Este proceso es estudiado en edificaciones tales como los aeropuertos, en donde los elementos estructurales hacen parte de un lenguaje de significados que actualmente evocan los espacios como símbolo de un universo de sentimientos y percepciones. El sistema estructural utilizado logra no solo cumplir con la función de soportar, sino a la vez de contener en cada elemento un código que permite la relación de lo real con lo imaginado, aspecto determinante para concebir los espacios como un vínculo al mundo de la fantasía que a través del tiempo se ha manifestado en el ser humano como anhelos de su propia existencia. The structural system from the antiquity has been part of the process of creation of spaces and it has been reflected in the architectural works as an apparent element of evolution, from the conception of the space like the experience of man, until the representation of its own imagination. This process is studied in such constructions as the airports where the structural elements make part of a language of meanings that at the moment evoke the spaces like symbols of a universe of feelings and perceptions. The utilized structural system does not only achieves alone the function of supporting, but at the same time of containing in each element a code that allows the relationship of the real thing with that imagined, decisive aspect to conceive the spaces like a bond to the world of the fantasy that has shown in the human being like yearnings of its own existence through the time.
