People's comfort, performance and healthy can be affected by the adverse conditions of thermal environment. Thermal comfort phenomenon in Mexico has been studied in different cities with warm (dry and wet), temperate and semi-cold bioclimates. This paper shows thermal results of a study carried out with the adaptive approach from April 24 to May 22, 2017: thermal transition period of cold period to warm period in Ensenada, Baja California. City is located in Mexico's northwest and has a temperate-dry bioclimate. The study was correlational type and was analyzed with 987 evaluations and the simultaneous recording of temperature, relative humidity and wind speed. Used questionnaires were designed based on ISO 10551 and ANSI/ASHRAE 55; and environmental measurement instruments were based on ISO 7726. Data were processed by Averages by Thermal Sensation Intervals method. Neutral Temperature was 20.2 °C, with a comfort thermal range 17.7 °C to 22.7 °C. People showed greater thermal adaptation to conditions above the neutral temperature, taking actions to resume thermal comfort immediately. Analyzed people’s thermal comfort was influenced by the thermal history and the actions realized by the people to get the adaptation to thermal environment.
