“Lo que considero una educación humanista... es una educación que permita y fomente el desarrollo de la persona, es decir, que las posibilidades de desarrollo del individuo no estén determinadas por el mercado. Desgra-ciadamente en nuestra sociedad el hombre no va a vivir del desarrollo de sus posibilidades, sino de la venta de su fuerza de trabajo. Al sistema no le interesa mucho, desde el punto de vista de la eficacia de su aparato produc-tivo y de su sistema social, que el individuo se realice y se desarrolle en sus posibilidades, sino que haya interiorizado la humildad frente a sí mismo, que solo le interese el éxito, la diferenciación, la promoción; mientras más tenga una mentalidad “técnicamente lacayuna” más éxito tendrá”....
