Sumario:
La creación y validación de una escala requiere de un proceso arduo en el que se navega constantemente entre dos grandes metodologías de la investigación, cualitativa y cuantitativa. Por un lado, el proceso requiere de la identificación de constructos y percepciones humanas, en los que la investigación cualitativa será de gran ayuda. Por otro lado, la validación tiene una connotación de ajuste estadístico, en que la investigación cuantitativa complementa los saberes. Se genera así una creación sólida que tiene en cuenta lo mejor de ambos mundos y que será utilizada para medir eso que creíamos inmedible.

Por un lado, el proceso requiere de la identificación de constructos y percepciones humanas, en los que la investigación cualitativa será de gran ayuda. Por otro lado, la validación tiene una connotación de ajuste estadístico, en que la investigación cuantitativa complementa los saberes. Se genera así una creación sólida que tiene en cuenta lo mejor de ambos mundos y que será utilizada para medir eso que creíamos inmedible.
