El Grupo Interdisciplinar de Estudios Ambientales GEA, desarrolló entre los días 23 y 24 de Abril de 2009, el primer concurso de Fotografía Ambiental titulado “¿Como lo estamos haciendo en la ETITC y sus alrededores?” La actividad buscó evidenciar y documentar con imágenes la cultura ambiental presente de la comunidad académica de la Escuela Tecnológica Instituto Técnico Central (ETITC) del entorno inmediato y del sector. En el concurso participaron los estudiantes del Bachillerato Técnico Industrial y de los Programas Educación Superior y el personal docente y administrativo. En el concurso participaron los estudiantes del Bachillerato Técnico Industrial y de los Programas Educación Superior y el personal docente y administrativo. Las imágenes presentaron tres ámbitos: el interior de la Escuela, sus alrededores inmediatos y sectores cercanos a ella. Con esta actividad se evidenció que existe una problemática ambiental y social importante y que es necesaria la participación activa de la comunidad para contribuir con la solución, la cual debe comenzar por un cambio al interior de la institución.</p> <p>The Interdisciplinary Group for Environmental Studies GEA, on the 23th and 24th of April of 2009, developed the first environmental photography contest under the name “How are we doing it in and around the ETITC?”. The activity sought to highlight and document, through images, the environmental culture of the academic community of the Escuela Técnológica Instituto Técnico Central (ETITC), and of the community sector. The participants were high school students, professional programs students and the academic and administrative staff. The images were focused in three areas: inside the ETITC, in its nearer areas, and finally in the nearest neighborhood of the School.
