Este artículo está enfocado al análisis de la cultura y la importancia que esta tiene en la visión y la manera de relacionarse del hombre con la naturaleza. Siendo el impacto ambiental de magnitud global, las alternativas a este fenómeno deben buscarse no solo en la tecnología sino en las diferentes perspectivas culturales que han permitido de una u otra forma generar estos cambios. A partir del análisis de dos culturas, la occidental y la cultura amazónica Makuna, se trataron de identificar las diferentes percepciones y formas de relación de estas con la naturaleza, con el fin de buscar en ellas nuevas opciones y, por qué no, nuevos paradigmas que permitan aportar una real solución al problema ambiental que hoy enfrenta la humanidad en todo el planeta tierra.</p> <p>This article is focused on the analysis of the culture and the importance that it has in the vision and in the way that man and nature are related. Being the environmental impact of global magnitude, the alternatives to this phenomenon must been looking for not only in the technologycal development but in the different cultural perspectives that have allowed in one or another way generate these changes.
