Este artículo presenta una discusión a cerca de la investigación con el objeto de hacer claridad en relación con este concepto; también muestra la influencia de las mediciones respecto a la investigación y algunos ejemplos de ella. La tesis consiste en que el objeto de estudio debería abordar la totalidad del conocimiento, no sólo el punto de vista académico sino de su aplicación práctica.
