ESTUDIO DE CARACTERÍSTICAS CRISTALOGRÁFICAS, MORFOLÓGICAS, COMPOSICIONALES Y ELÉCTRICAS DE VARISTORES COMERCIALES ESTUDIO DE CARACTERÍSTICAS CRISTALOGRÁFICAS, MORFOLÓGICAS, COMPOSICIONALES Y ELÉCTRICAS DE VARISTORES COMERCIALES Se reporta un estudio comparativo de productos existentes en el mercado, para definir criterios con respecto a los cuales se puedan comparar muestras obtenidas en investigación de varistores o definir estándares de control de calidad para consumidores. Se estudiaron características cristalográficas y morfológicas de varistores con diferentes voltajes de ruptura, presumiblemente de composición estándar de óxido de cinc, mediante DRX y SEM; se realizó el análisis químico cuantitativo y de caracterización eléctrica para obtener la curva característica I-V.Abstract: A comparative market existing products study is presented to define criteria with regard of which samples obtained by varistor research can be compared or to define quality control standards for consumers. Crystallographic and morphologic characteristics of varistors with different break voltages were studied, presumably with standard composition of zinc oxide, through DRX and SEM; the quantitative chemical and electric characterization analyses were realized to obtain the characteristic curve I-V Miranda, Guillermo L.
