Sumario:
La postura es parte fundamental del control del movimiento y del desempeño funcional de una persona, en él se integran diferentes sistemas fisiológicos que pueden ser afectados por una patología trayendo como consecuencia diversas y específicas deficiencias. La deficiencia del control postural en niños con parálisis cerebral es el resultado de múltiples factores: los problemas de integración sensorial, las alteraciones musculoesqueléticas secundarias y los problemas de coordinación los cuales se abordan a partir de los desórdenes motores.
