Ploutos Este artículo analiza la situación actual del bilingüismo en Colombia, nuestra investigación se fundamenta en la metodología de análisis a partir de indicadores y resultados obtenidos por el ICFES y con respaldo del Banco de la Republica, las cuales son entidades certificadas. En el año 2004, el Ministerio de Educación diseñó el Programa Nacional de Bilingüismo (PNB) y estipuló los lineamientos y objetivos para su desarrollo en todo el país. En este estudio se exploró diferencialmente la literatura con aportes del grupo al análisis central de hipótesis relacionadas. This study differentially explored the literature with inputs from the group to the central analysis of related hypotheses. Therefore, throughout this article we aim to demonstrate that most of the deficit in the English level of students in secondary and higher education is produced by the insufficient level of English teachers.
