Un Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial (POT) es una herramienta que poseen los municipios y distritos para planificar y ordenar su territorio y tiene como objetivo integrar la planificación física y socioeconómica, así como el respeto al medio ambiente. En este artículo se estudian elementos como la población, etnias, nivel educativo, así como los lugares donde se presentan fenómenos meteorológicos y tectónicos como lluvias, sequías y derrumbes, estableciéndose como un instrumento que debe formar parte de las políticas de estado. Esto, con el fin de propiciar el desarrollo sostenible, contribuyendo a que las políticas gubernamentales y su gestión pública se orienten a la regulación y promoción de desarrollo y asentamientos humanos.... En este artículo se estudian elementos como la población, etnias, nivel educativo, así como los lugares donde se presentan fenómenos meteorológicos y tectónicos como lluvias, sequías y derrumbes, estableciéndose como un instrumento que debe formar parte de las políticas de estado. Esto, con el fin de propiciar el desarrollo sostenible, contribuyendo a que las políticas gubernamentales y su gestión pública se orienten a la regulación y promoción de desarrollo y asentamientos humanos. The Territorial Order Plan is a tool that all districts and municipals have to plan and order their territories; it aims at integrating socio- economic and physical planning, as well as respect for the natural environment. In this research paper, some elements such as population, mix of races and educational level are analyzed. We also study tectonic and meteorological phenomena such as rain, dryness and landslides, setting them up as an instrument that should be part of government policies.
