spelling Recent advances in scanning technology, with the introduction of axial tomography with multidetectors, has made it possible to differentiate more often the presence of pulmonary injuries known as subsolid pulmonary nodules (SN) or nodular ground-glass opacities (GGN). These injuries can be associated with different etiologies, including lung cancer. There is still no consensus about the workup, follow-up, diagnosis, or treatment of these injuries. Therefore this article intends to carry out a general review of the current state of SNs and GGNs, with regard to 4 cases managed at the Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá.
